With Sun Sign Compatibility, the rule of thumb is a particular sign will blend well with some signs but not with others. But this isn't really the complete picture. Comparing Sun Signs only is like just having just one ingredient of a very complicated recipe. Your astrology birth chart is how all the planets (including the Sun and Moon) were aligned at the very second you were born; not just the sun's location.

This is important to understand. The location of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and even Pluto (although some say it is no longer a planet) are just as important to the make up of a person's birth chart as the location of the Sun. The location of the planets, the Sun and the Moon at the moment of your birth will be compared to the location of the planets, the Sun and the Moon at your partner's birth to see where things should be harmonious, and where potential conflicts might arise.

By studying this comparison of charts, you will better understand how to handle the elements of the other person's personality that either drive you crazy, or drive you wild. Through understanding, you will be laying the foundation for a solid and lasting relationship.
